Michael and I were at Plymouth Law School today giving a day seminar on things SIMPLE. We were with a small and enthusiastic bunch of staff who were eager to get hands-on experience of working with the SIMPLE tools. After a general introduction to simulation learning that’s what we did for the rest of the day. At least four simulation blueprints were formed. One in particular was pretty complex – a Conveyancing scenario, with teams of students buying and selling property to each other – but we cracked it by the end of the day. Part of the problem was the difficulty in moving from paperworld information management methods to digital-based scenario creation – a fairly common problem when paper-based sims are transferred to SIMPLE. It’s something we’ll need to write up in more detail as a brief case-study…
