no index.php file in svn checkout

Hi i just checked out simple from svn and after installing and going to root folder of simple i got error that object not found.

i checked root directory and there was no index.php. then i went to xref site and from source created an index.php in my root directory and commenting out some lines where it was including some files for debugging. but it is still not working. may be it not part of the version i checked out.

is index.php in not included in svn?
first i thought that may be installer will create this file in root but i was wrong.

i have working installation of stable build but just wanted to try out latest build from repo.

please have a look.

The only thing I can see is that the file in the SVN repo is "Index.php" and not "index.php"...I don't know if the casing would be causing an issue here....

I couldn't tell you! However the Index.php file is now removed from the trunk, so there should only be "index.php", which is a bit more standard...
