Delete button in Folder Manager

I noticed that in the Folder Manager Box on SIMPLE there are buttons for saving and deleting and wondered how this works as my understanding was that students cannot delete anything.

The delete functions are contextual and only appear on the document if the folder allows deletions and the current user has permission to perform a delete operation. (note if you are using a super admin account you always can delete things)

In the folder manager students cannot delete the pre-defined folders but can delete folders they have created.

In reality NOTHING is actually deleted, items are marked as deleted and hidden from student's view. This means that most things can be easily "undeleted"
